So it's been over a year since I updated this blog last. I guess that's life.
Anyway, this week's been pretty standard. I have a job as a groundskeeper for the town of Vevay as a summer thing, and it's been a lot cooler this week than it has been for the past month or so. It was constantly in the high 80s and very humid, but now it's in the 70s a much more dry.
I'm looking for a job in New Albany so I can rent an apartment and not have to live on campus anymore. I'd save over 4000 dollars a semester if I can pull it off. Luckily, a Kroger not 5 minutes from IUS has contacted me, so I might have a chance at being employed soon. So that definitely makes this week's grade look pretty good! I'd say a solid A.
Other than that, I don't have much to say this time. I got Pink Floyd's "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" album finally this past weekend, so I've been listening to it quite a bit. And on that note, I'll leave you with a lyric from that album.
One Slip - Pink Floyd: A Momentary Lapse of Reason
"Was it love, or was it the idea of being in love?
Was it the hand of fate that seemed to fit just like a glove?
The moment slipped by and soon the seeds were sown
The year grew late and neither one wanted to remain alone
One slip, and down the hole we fall
It seems to take no time at all
A momentary lapse of reason
That binds a life for life
A small regret, you won't forget,
There'll be no sleep in here tonight"
